Surveys of aquatic organisms including Fish (electro-fishing and ageing), Zooplankton, Phytoplankton, Macro-Invertebrates and Aquatic Plants can be carried out by our trained staff.

On-site sampling and analysis can be undertaken to assess key Water Quality Parameters including Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen and pH.

Microbiological sampling for biological pathogens such as sewage pollution can also be undertaken on-site and cost effective analysis arranged if required.

Within the Cheshire Eco Solutions laboratory microscopic examinations can be undertaken to identify organisms as algae, plankton and invertebrates which may be present in samples taken from fisheries.

Water samples taken from fisheries can be analysed for Hardness, Clarity, Suspended Solids and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD).

Specific Chemical analysis for aquatic pollutants such as Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite and Heavy Metals can also be carried out within the laboratory.
